Non Profit Management Jobs Get New Degree Option
Students preparing for non profit management jobs now have a new option when it comes to earning an online degree.
Lubbock Christian University recently announced that it will expand the existing Master's in Leadership program to include two new specializations: Not-for-Profit Management and Organizational Management.
The Master's in Leadership program teaches students the skills they need in order to obtain management or administrative roles in a variety of organizations. They learn about people management, efficiency and growth strategies, and "servant leadership."
Students who specialize in the new Not-for-Profit Management course will learn how to launch and lead a nonprofit organization in today's society. Those focused on Organizational Management will learn how to lead companies, teams, and individuals in a way that will change our society.
"Most individuals travel through several jobs and even several careers in a lifetime," LCU stated in a press release. "The online Master's in Leadership with its varying specializations offers continuing value throughout graduates' careers with outcomes and skills that can be applied across a wide variety of industries and fields, such as executive management, project management and coordination, volunteer work, service organizations, and the government."
The new courses, both of which are offered online, will provide students with more options when it comes to earning an advanced degree. LCU is already accepting applications for classes beginning in May.
